The fret level process involved the following steps:

1) Mask the fretboard.

2) Mark the tops of the frets with a black magic marker.

3) Level the frets with a 12" Mill file.

4) sand the frets by attaching 220, 320 and 400 grit paper to a radius block.

5) Crown the frets with a crowning file.

6) Round the fret ends with a fret dressing file.

7) Sand the frets along their lengths with 600 paper.

8) Polish the frets with a Dremel and polishing compound.
